Barry Jackson, Member Manager

Mr. Jackson provides substantial operational and systems experience. He currently owns several commercial properties. He provides development, construction, management and operational experience in commercial and retail center properties. He has held a Florida real estate license for over 20 years as well as buying and selling investment residential property. He has a varied background in business including working as a mainframe computer operations manager for over 16 years with a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Jackson successfully built and sold previous businesses, and he developed, owned and operated one of the top producing Jiffy Lube Franchises in the state of Florida.

Steve Riley, Member Manager

The founding attorney at The Strategic Counsel, L.C. law firm, Mr. Riley has been practicing law in Tampa, Florida since 1988. Mr. Riley is an accomplished author of numerous books and publications. He is a popular speaker and instructor who has presented seminars such as "Legal Aspects of Buying or Selling a Business in Florida" and "Asset Protection in Florida." As well as being a teacher, author and practicing attorney, Mr. Riley has successfully acquired commercial real estate including ownership interest in several commercial buildings.

Jeannie Shorts, Operations Manager

With 18 years real estate know-how behind her, Ms. Shorts comes to SPG with extensive experience in all aspects of office administration with an emphasis on customer service. As winner of “Coordinator of the Year” with ERA Franchise Systems, Inc., Jeannie garnered special recognition as she stood out from her peers from across the country. Originally from northeast Ohio, she and her husband are 16 year residents of Land O’Lakes. She holds a Florida real estate license and her responsibilities include tenant coordination, investor relations, property management and accounting.
